Daisy is the all-American girl next door, with a hunger for true love and an appetite for murder. For years, it’s just been her and her brother living out in the desert, hunting young men for sport – and dinner. While Daisy enjoys these games, she can’t help but yearn for something more. So, when she meets the very handsome John Doe, and they fall madly in love, Daisy can’t believe her good fortune. But it turns out John has some eccentric hobbies of his own, and now Daisy must find out if she will be his partner in crime – or his next victim.
This sex driven wild and wacky film does offer up some stuff that a lot of folks will want to see. There is a big T and A show on display and to the credit of the film, our leads are very much entertaining and play their roles to the best that I’m sure anyone could play them. The story is a bit weird and might be too weird for some. We basically have a man called John Doe (get it?) who takes pleasure in sleeping in hotel rooms with hot women and then killing them because they have tattoos and he seems that as a no-no in his book. On the other end, we have Daisy. After being tied up and raped, her and her brother have broken free and now live a life of killing people and eating them. John soon crosses paths with Daisy and we start the weirdest love story you might have seen on film in years. The aspect of this and some of the killing styles is what keeps you watching along the way until the ending.
Of course the movie does offer up some dead-ends along the way. We have a mysterious detective type played by Chris Cleveland. He’s on the trail of John Doe, but it seems like his being here never really doesn’t amount to much. There is a few things in this movie I think needed to have more time spent on it, but it isn’t and the ending results is it is what it ultimately is. I also wasn’t a big fan of the ending. I won’t spoil it, but I’d have liked something a little better than what we ended up with. The movie does have some mixed things going on, but as I said before our leads end up making it as entertaining as it is. It is a very gimmick filled movie with some bad accents and a few cool effects tossed in for good measure. There is some good things and some bad things, but it still makes for an entertaining enough movie.
