An obsessed, homicidal loner stalks women in a metropolitan city in hopes of creating the ultimate living doll that he can keep all for himself.

Wild Eye Releasing has revamped the Raw line into the Raw and Extreme line! The movie I’m talking about today, Doll Syndrome, is apparently the first from the new and improved line. This is a movie from Domiziano Cristopharo, who you may remember directed Red Krockadile, E.N.D, and other hardcore extreme films. How Raw and Extreme is this one? Well, it starts off with our leading crazy man rubbing one out on-screen. He also cuts himself, pukes, licks the toilet, and other stomach-churning things. The movie also opens up with some very graphic real photos of prisoners being humiliated in the military. These are some pretty famous pics, so I’m sure you’ve heard of them and will recognize them when you see them. I guess what I’m trying to say is not only does this movie do some pretty crazy things, you can tell it is going above and beyond to be crazy.

On top of all of that extreme stuff, we also have some gore and some rather neat stop-motion effects. While I don’t think this will be a movie that just anyone will want to dive right into and watch, there are things in this movie that anyone should be able to appreciate if they can get past the other stuff. There is a real plot in the madness too as out lead becomes obsessed with a girl and wants to collect parts of women to create the doll, thus the title of the film. It’s all pretty interesting stuff and while it might be hard to watch for some, it should be just right for people who love extreme cinema. This new line shows a lot of promise for Wild Eye as it is very much in the same tone as the old Dimension Extreme line and I can really get behind that.
