“The sisters of the Delta Omega sorority won a free weekend at a luxurious hotel & spa. They planned on having a fun and steamy weekend. However, things go from steamy to bloody when an escaped serial killer checks into the hotel and crashes their party. The heat will be on at the HOT TUB PARTY MASSACRE!!!”

Look, I enjoy lots of low budget and low brow indie horror flicks, so if you don’t then you should probably just click away from this thing now because that is exactly the type of movie we are dealing with in Hot Tub Party Massacre. All in all is the movie really that good? No, not really. But coming from a strictly indie side of things it does offer up some intentional and unintentional comedic moments that will make you laugh if nothing else. You also get some T and A, which never is a bad thing when dealing with these types of movies. The characters and plot are all over the place, but who really goes into something like this looking for a plot anyway? This is one for people who enjoy bad movies.

So as we get a typical “party” style slasher here with a killer on the loose killing off people, we have some very random moments and some questionable green screen at times. That could take a lot of people out of it at times, but I did manage to have an easy time finishing this one up and that is something that isn’t always easy to do when dealing with indie film situations. This movie is an acquired taste and even in those means, it isn’t necessarily Gutterballs or Venus Fly Trap. You’ll find it somewhere lumped in with a large group of rather bad but still entertaining indie horror flicks that were made for next to nothing, but fans of that stuff like me will still want to see it.
