A sexy convention nerd (Tobian Thompson) returns to her hotel room and finds herself unwinding to the late night antics of horror host, Mr. Sleaze! What follows is horror short after horror short in this horror anthology, most starring cult movie legend, Joel D. Wynkoop!

Make Them Die Sleazy is a very indie anthology film that floods the viewer with short after short, most the time around ten minutes and ending up overall around the 90 minutes mark when done. There is probably more bad than good segements, but most have Joel D. Wynkoop and as a result still maintain at least some level of entertainment. There is a very simple wrap-around with a hot girl basically lying around looking hot while watching Mr.Sleazy present this stuff on TV. He isn’t anywhere near the Crypt Keeper, but I guess you could say he has his moments all things considered. There is a creative side to a number of these shorts, even if maybe the creative side doesn’t always work. Take the White Lie segment for example. Here the story is told in a series of black and white still shots. It is weird and creative. Probably works best because it is short, but I could see a lot of folks having issues with it anyway. Dark Comedy is different and might stand out as the best of the more artsy side of things with this.

The last part of the film has more solid stuff to offer up, but it may be bit rough getting to that point for some. I think the wrap around delivers in the T and A department, but might be seen as a bit weak in its own right as when it ends the stinger at the end isn’t enough to really push this one up and might even be considered rather weak with all things considered. Still, I liked this one enough. I can dig something like this and shows promise and effort. There are some legit funny moments and like I have already said, there is some creative stuff in here. I think it might have been better if it has less shorts that were perhaps longer, but who am I to tell someone how to make their movie. It has its moments and when it hits the mark it hits it really well. It is a mixed bag, but I found it enjoyable enough regardless.
