If you’re a fan of Halloween you should probably take note of the new Halloween Collection from Echo Bridge that places The Cure of Michael Myers, Halloween H20, and Halloween Resurrection all on the same disc.
Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995)
Picking up where we last left off from part 5, this infamous entry into the series is known for being the last time we’d get to see Dr.Loomis before the sad passing of Donald Pleasence. The film went through re-shoots and re-editing and the ending result is somewhat messy. Regardless, while not the sought after “Producer’s Cut”, this film would go on to gain a cult following

Halloween H2O: 20 Years Later (1998)
Coming off the heels of a giant horror shift with the style of Wes Craven’s Scream, Halloween H20 would be shockingly smart and full of quality. Bringing back Jamie Lee Curtis to the franchise as Laurie, this film would go on to somewhat ignore 3-6 and complete a bit of a trilogy with 1 and 2. The results for this film would be generally positive reviews and a bit of return to form for this staggering Halloween brand.

Halloween: Resurrection (2002)
The bottom now seems to drop out with the failed attempt at modernizing Halloween. Internet, reality TV, and a Kung fu fighting Busta Rhymes, are all here to make for a somewhat hard watch. A watch that is only topped in the hard to watch department by the misuse of the legendary Laure character. This would mark the last entry to the original Halloween series before we got ourselves a reboot. And after you see this you will see why a reboot was needed.
