“Justice League vs. The Fatal Five” finds the Earth’s future hanging in the balance when the Justice League faces a powerful new threat – the Fatal Five. Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman seek answers as the time-traveling trio of Mano, Persuader, and Tharok terrorize Metropolis in search of budding Green Lantern, Jessica Cruz – whom they need to free remaining Fatal Five members Emerald Empress and Validus in order to carry out their sinister plan. But the Justice League discover an ally from another time in the peculiar Star Boy – brimming with volatile power, could he be the key to thwarting the Fatal Five? An epic battle against ultimate evil awaits!

DC and Warner Brothers are back with another animated superhero movie, this time it comes in the form of Justice Leauge vs. The Fatal Five. A story that takes a guy from the future and tosses him back in time with the Justice Leauge and before everyone can figure out what is going on a group of evil villains from his time go back in time as well to find and him and destroy the world. So, as you can guess, our heroes are into action to make sure that doesn’t happen and the story is pretty interesting. I’m a fan of these animated movies and this one might not stand out on paper as much as some of the other more recent releases, but trust me when I tell you that it packs a solid plot and some action that will make it a good time for any fan of these films, DC Comics, or just a good animated action flick in general. It also comes from the creator of Batman the Animated series so that should tell you a thing or two about the movie’s quality as well.

I think one of the keys to making any sort of Justice Leauge movie work usually all depends on how well you can use Superman in it. I’m a Batman fan personally and I feel he always brings the goods, bu you have to make Superman interesting to really make a story work and I feel with the treat everyone faces in this one it really makes Superman a stronger character and as a result of that, the plot works. That’s probably what makes this one. From a 4K side of things, this one looks way better I feel than some of the other 4K animated DC movie’s we’ve seen. I feel the HDR is in full effect with this one making it a much more lively transfer than what we’ve seen on past releases. When you bring all of these factors into play, I feel it makes Justice Leauge vs. The Fatal Five a very strong release with a good looking 4K release and a cool plot to watch.
