Stanley and Paul, a pair of friends on the run from the law, rent a house in the suburbs, where they decide the best way to lay low is for Paul to dress as a woman and pretend to be Stanley’s Aunt Martha. Not too long after the pair move into their new home, Paul suddenly murders a young woman Stanley brings home with him. Paul’s violent tendencies continue to spin out of control, and soon nobody who comes near is safe from him.

Well, in the deepest darkest corner of the cinematic world, where you find weird films with some odd undertones, you’d certainly pull a film like this from there. Here, we got two guys on the hideout. One decides to take the name of the other’s aunt, Martha. Making things all the more weirder in the film, the one who takes the aunt’s name seems terrible jealous when his buddy is out with women making it do what it do. Which he does a lot, and when he does do that the ending result is usually with the woman dead. Add on to that, the neighbors in the area all seem to be pretty nosy even before one becomes even more involved with the plot and you have the plot! It isn’t a must-see affair, but it doesn’t bore you when you sit down to watch this one.

I think the performance of our “Aunt Martha” is maybe the best part of the whole film. You have an actor who is hamming it up and hamming it up with the best results you could hope for. The violence didn’t go too far into the graphic area, which I had wanted more blood, but you get what you usually get with stuff like this from this time. There is also some T and A, which I’m sure nobody who likes women will be complaining about. It feels like a midnight movie or something you’d watch in a theater with sticky floors, but I just don’t think you’ll be reaching to watch this one more than once. Still, it isn’t awful for a good once over. If you dig the more obscure stuff we’ve gotten from Vinegar Syndrome/AGFA I’m sure you will like this as well. If not, then you don’t get much more than you usually do outside the good acting performance.
