Season Eleven plunges Sam and Dean Winchester into extreme peril as they face The Darkness, a sinister new menace unleashed upon the Earth. They continue their monster-hunting missions, battling the usual werewolves, black-eyed demons and even a vengeful ghost in a stuffed bunny costume, but with a sharp new focus: destroy The Darkness. Needing all the help they can get, the brothers turn to fallen angel Castiel; the King of Hell, Crowley and even an unassuming God – only to come face to face with Lucifer and Crowley’s power-hungry witch-mother Rowena.

Fourteen seasons is a long time to run a show! What makes it even more amazing is that somehow Supernatural has managed to join other shows like Grey’s Anatomy in going very deep into seasons and still being able to keep things interesting. This season packs a whole twenty episodes and for the most part, keeps thing fun and spooky for my taste. This season consists in most part about the possession of Dean. And it is up to Sam to figure things out, but in true Supernatural style that is only the start and soon after more things come into play. And with that, we have more questions that we must answer as we move along. It is reasons like this that a show like Supernatural is able to stay going for as long as it has.

To go with the usual demons, hell, werewolves, and more, this season has some stuff going down during Halloween time that I think only helps enhance the mood and tone of this season. The atmosphere is totally a cool factor for this show and it still is here. Look, I’m not going to try to sit here and tell you that this is the best this show has ever been, but with as deep down the supernatural hole as this one goes and with the ending the seasons gives us, you at least want to see more and that’s a very good thing. Supernatural season fourteen isn’t always the best show that it was, but it isn’t bad either. If you liked the show leading up till now, I see no reason why you shouldn’t enjoy this season.
