Set on the canals amid the glorious British countryside, two sisters and their boyfriends head off for a relaxing weekend away on a barge, unaware of the flesh-eating fish mutants lurking in the water, ready and waiting to feed.

We are out on the British countryside with a group of friends and pretty soon they realize that they have a lot more to worry with rather than just some locals who don’t want them there. Pretty soon they are all dealing a group of flesh-eating mutants and that’s when this one is truly at its best. Everything else, seems to drag on just a bit much. Turning our attention to the more positive side of things, this one feels like it has a Texas Chainsaw Massacre vibe every once in awhile. Is it as good? Heavens no, but it does give off that slight feeling from time to time in this settig. It’s also fun when the blood is starting to fly and spray out, which it does from time to time and I dug that part of the movie a whole lot. Those moments will probably be the parts of the movie that people enjoy the most while watching.

The characters in this one are a bit hard to get behind. They at times argue with one another over the silliest of things. They also often make bas decisons when the stuff is hitting the fan. As a matter of fact, we probably have some characters that could have been saved if the characters here didn’t act so dumb. Often times people freeze up or just do the wrong thing that makes no sense. Now I can’t tell you what I’d do if I was facing off with mutants trying to eat me alive, but I like to think I’d do better than they do here. This one is still watchable but becomes a lot better once the blood is flowing. When it isn’t, things aren’t as much fun and I think when you watch this one for yourself you won’t have a hard time figuring out what I mean.
