Join Huey, a ten-year-old leftist revolutionary, and his eight-year-old misfit brother, Riley, as they leave the rough Chicago south side for the relative peacefulness of the suburbs. Although the boys torture each other and provoke the neighbourhood, they are still no match for Granddad, who is eccentric even by ‘crazy-ass-old-black-man’ standards. This 11-disc Complete Series set contains all episodes, uncut and uncensored, across 4 seasons. Packed with special features including audio commentaries, making of featurettes and many more!

One of my “go-to” shows, when I was younger, was The Boondocks. This urban show that used the style of anime animation was one of the most hilarious shows I had ever seen and I LOVED it. That is why I’m so happy to be seeing this show being released in its complete form and uncensored by Via Vision Entertainment in Australia. This will play on your region 1 DVD player and you will be highly entertained from start to finish again if you’ve seen this before and if you’ve never seen it before then you should prepare to have your mind blown by what you were about to see here. This is a show that is hilarious and has an all-star cast doing the voices, but in the middle of all the comedy is a real message that I think sometimes gets lost in the laughs, Regardless, this is a perfect show and it’s done in a perfect way.

This show was a hot spot for pop culture and issues and things going on during the time this show was on are all covered in different episodes. On top of that, we watch it all play out with awesome characters like the self-hating black man Uncle Ruckus and Pops. This show never had a bad episode in my opinion. No matter if they were trying to exorcise the black out of someone, dealing with rappers, Myspace, or any of the other countless things that took place during the time this show was turning out new episodes. This set also comes loaded with extras as well. Via Vision knocks it out of the park again with a great release like this.
